WE WILL DEVOTE POWERS TO LOCAL COMMUNITIES, YATSENYUK

The Givernment of Ukraine is working on devoting the power to the regions. The appropriate constitutional amendments should be made. This was reported by the Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk in Odesa.

"The government is working on dissolution of regional and district state administration and establishing the executive committees. Odesa residents should have the possibility to elect the local inhabitants the head of the local executive committee", Yatsenyuk stressed.

PM also emphasized the decentralization should be accompanied by the economic resources thus the economic code should be also amended.
