Putin assures he has withdrawn its troops from the Ukrainian border

Russian President Vladimir Putin has declared there are no Russian troops near the Ukrainian border.

"We were constantly told Ukraine was disturbed with our troops near its borders, so we have withdrawn them. There are no troops near the Ukrainian border at the moment, they are located in their home stations. It can be easily checked using today's modern reconnaissance equipment. Everything can be seen", Putin declared after his meeting with the Swiss counterpart Didier Burkhalter.
According to the Russian leader, the situation in Ukraine is developing under the worst-case scenario and those, who organized the revolution, are to be blamed as they still haven't disarmed right-wing groups.
Putin has stressed that Russia calls the current Ukrainian authorities to halt immediately all military operations in southeastern Ukraine. He has told Russia is ready to contribute to resolving the crisis in Ukraine.
At the same time he called the allegations that the key to solving the Ukrainian crisis was in the hands of Moscow to be baseless.
