Praviy Sector does not plan any actions on May 9

According to their statement, Praviy Sector will not carry out any actions on May 9, except guarding the locations of veterans meetings, who requested it beforehand.

“Praviy Sector does not have enemies among Ukrainian citizens of any age, social status or confession, moreover, among veterans of the World War II. We consider May 9 as the day of honoring blessed memory of all who died during the war and offer all units to honor the dead with a minute of silence,” the statement of the organization reads.

PS considers unacceptable any violence against Ukrainian citizens, who on May 9 want to honor this day in a peaceful way.

The information about criminal plans, about which we were informed, to use on May 9 the symbols or name of Praviy Sector during planned provocations, will be submitted security agencies,

The organization demands from the security agencies to take immediate actions to neutralize criminal groups and emphasizes on inadmissibility of using symbols and name of Praviy Sector during illegal actions by pro-Russian groups on May 9.
