The North Atlantic Alliance is continuing to monitor the situation with the stationing of 40,000 Russian troops near Ukraine's border and Russian interference in eastern Ukraine, NATO's supreme allied command in Europe has reported.
"NATO is closely monitoring developments in the region due to the Russian incursion into Crimea, the presence of 40,000 Russian troops along the border, and the continued evidence of Russian interference in eastern Ukraine," reads the report.
