The territorial integrity of Ukraine was supported by 72.8% of Donetsk region citizens and 70.1% of Luhansk region citizens, respectively 24.75% and 26.9% voted against.
At the same time, 84.79% of Donetsk region citizens and 87.7% of Luhansk region citizens supported greater powers of the local communities expressed in independent budget and cultural policy of the region. Respectively 2.83% and 3.3% voted against.

The “national referendum” was conducted by over 100 mobile groups that were moving around the cities.
In addition, the volunteers faced difficulties and direct threats to their lives and health during the survey.
