Switzerland confirms freezing assets of Yanukovych and his circle in the amount of $200 million

Federal Prosecutor’s Office of Switzerland confirmed freezing assets of the fourth President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych and his circle in the amount of about 170 million Swiss francs ($193 700 000).
Jurg Blaser, spokesman for the Swiss federal prosecutor's office, informed about this in a statement, given in response to the request of Swiss media to comment the reports.
“The investigation continues and at the current moment we cannot disclose additional details,” Blaser informed.
The prosecutor’s office of Geneva opened a criminal case on Viktor Yanukovych suspected in money laundry. Within the case, a Geneva company, which belongs to Oleksandr Yanukovych, was searched and the documents were seized.
