Border guards deny reports about 250 saboteurs from Transnistria

State Border Service of Ukraine assures that reports about 250 saboteurs entering Ukraine from Transnistria during past three days do not correspond to the facts.

The Press Office of the Service has informed about this.

“State Border Service states that Transnistrian segment of the Ukrainian-Moldovan border is under special control not only of State Border Service of Ukraine, but also of the EU mission with the border assistance of Ukraine and Moldova,” the border guards emphasized.

The service has also added that the guard of the border is carried out in a strengthened mode, involving SSU and Interior Ministry officers.

“Thorough border control is carried out towards all people and vehicles which enter Ukraine,” Press Office added.

According to the service, lately the admission to enter the territory of our country, due to different reasons,  was denied for over 400 Russian citizens who were coming fro the territory of Moldova.
