TURMOIL IN ODESA AGAIN

Several hundred of people have blocked Preobrazhenska Street from the junction with Bunina Str. to Zhukovskoho Str. to prevent the police from taking the pro-Russian activists, apprehended on May 2, from the city police department to the court.

The area is blocked by the garbage containers and concrete flowerpots. The protesters have also blocked the passways to the building.
The hearing should have started at 12 pm in Prymorskyi district court to consider the interim measures for apprehended activists but their relatives, friends and supporters want them to be set free from the city police department.

As Timer local media reports, the "people's viche" has begun at the Kulykove Pole (the area where pro-Russian separatists have been gathering for two last months), there are few people there.
A big Russian flag is stretched over the face of the building; there are flowers and icon near it.
