Ukrainian army retakes the best part of Slovyansk under its control, Tymchuk

Ukrainian law enforcement officers have retaken the best part of Slovyansk during the active phase of the anti-terrorist operation.

This is reported by the chairman of the Center for military and political studies, the head of Informational Resistance center Dmytro Tymchuk via his Facebook page.

“The Ukrainian law enforcement officers have retaken the control over the best part of Slovyansk during another active phase of the anti-terrorist operation. At the moment the checkpoints of terrorists are deblocked and the local TV broadcasting station is taken under the control”, he reports.

According to Tymchuk, the terroristrs tries to disband. The main centers of resistance are located in the south-easten part of the town.

"During the operation the terrorists put down the Ukrainian helicopter Mi-24, using anti-aircraft missles (the second helicopter, working in pair with one put down, managed to retreat)", Tymchuk noticed.
