Trade Unions building could have been set on fire by Molotov cocktails thrown from above



Experts of State Emergency Service of Ukraine department in Donetsk region came to preliminary conclusions concerning the reasons of fire outbreak in the Trade Unions building on May 2.

The Press Office of the Internal Affairs Department in Odessa region informs that during yesterdays unrests between extremists and police, law-enforcers made offenders move to Kulykiv field, where they seized Trade Unions building and barricaded themselves inside of it.
The attackers started throwing fiery bottles at peaceful citizens and shooting with firearms at them. As a result of using Molotov cocktails by offenders, a fire has started which from the upper floors spread over big area of the building and caused death of over forty people. Over 120 people received various degrees of injuries, the message reads.
