SSU proves the involvement of Russia in capture of OSCE observers in Slovyansk

SSU provides a phone conversation proving coordination and direct influence of the Russian side on the situation concerning capture of the OSCE military verification mission in Slovyansk.

“Despite Russia’s statements about laying responsibility of hostage-taking on Ukraine, phone records between special representative of the President of the Russian Federation Volodymyr Lukin and the leader of armed terrorists Ihor Hirkyn “Strelok” (Strelkov) proves that the official Russian side coordinates militanty actions and has direct influence on their decisions,” ministry’s statement reads.
At the same time, SSU states that the “active participation” of the Russian delegation in releasing of hostages is simply staged.
