Cabinet has temporarily closed checkpoints on border with Crimea



According to the Resolution No. 424 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of April 30, 27 checkpoints across the state border and control points in Crimea and Sevastopol are temporarily closed.

"Due to the aggravation of the situation in Crimea and the invasion of the armed forces, extremist-minded people in Ukraine and military aggression of the Russian Federation, blocking of checkpoints across the state border (hereinafter - the checkpoints) and the control points, located in the Crimea, which makes it impossible to follow up the proceedings therein and impedes carrying out the kinds of state control when crossing the state border, as provided for in the Ukrainian legislation, and according to the Law of Ukraine "On protection of rights and freedoms of citizens and legal regime over the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine" to close temporarily the crossing points and control points, listed in the annex", the resolution says, published on the Government website
