Terrorists suffer great losses during ATO: Turchynov


The acting President of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov has claimed that ant-terror operation (ATO) is spreading not a quickly as one hopes.

According to him, the operation is complicated by the terrorist bases locations in populated cities, and they themselves are hiding behind the backs of civilians, covering themselves with hostages, shooting from apartment buildings.
"During today’s phase of the operation, all fortified firing posts and checkpoints of the terrorists around the city of Slovyansk are fully surrounded. The attack on terrorists continues. During the operation, insurgents suffered great losses: many killed, wounded and arrested. Unfortunately, we are informed about two killed and seven wounded Ukrainian military," Turchynov informs in a statement published on the president’s website.
