Special service battalion has arrived to Odesa, Avakov

 

According the Interior Minister Arsen Avakov, the MIA Special Service battalion "Kyiv-1" has arrived to Odesa.

He wrote about that on his Facebook page.

This is one of the units, created recently on the basis of the civil activists. The unit is under the command of people, born in Odesa, as well as the significant part of the unit. We make a decision to sent these guys to Odesa, taking into consideration their desire to help this city in these difficult days,

The Minister has added that 42 people, apprehended during the mass riots in Odesa on May 2, were convoyed this night to one of the regions of Ukraine.
