Russia has redeployed an air regiment of the newest fighter aircrafts to Crimea, source



Crimean military expert has reported on condition of anonymity that Russia expands its military presence at the Crimean peninsula. Aircrafts and troops are redeployed there.

"The sky over Crimea was dark of aircrafts all day long on Saturday. It was probably the biggest redeployment of air fleet here since the German occupation of Crimea in 1941", Ukrinform quotes its source.
He has also added the several dozens of MiG and Su has been redeployed from the continental part of Russia, about an air regiment in total.
The expert supposes those are the newest aircrafts, possibly of fourth generation.
The eyewitnesses say they have also noticed a few strategic bombers Tutopliev Tu-22M-type.
Besides that, at least 10 Ilyushin Il-76 strategic airlifters with troopers and military equipment on board were noticed at Belbek airfield near Sevastopol.
"Taking into the consideration the last events in South East of Ukraine, it may happen that the Russia will draw the noose over Ukraine by expanding its military presence in Crimea, threatening the southern and eastern regions", expert suggests.
