Putin blames Ukrainian authorities in death of people in Odessa

Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed condolences to the relatives of dead during the unrests in Odessa, calling them victims of the “punitive actions” of the Ukrainian authorities.

“The head of the Russian state expressed deep condolences to the relatives of killed and burned alive people in Odessa, wished speedy recovery to the wounded as a result punitive actions by Kyiv authorities,” the statement by Vladimir Putin reads, published on the official website.
