Four militants suspected in fusillading helicopters are detained

Four men from separatist checkpoints, the place from where they allegedly shot with MANPADS at helicopters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, were detained in Donetsk region.

The Press Office of the Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense has informed about this.

“Today, May 2, as a result of conducting anti-terror operations at the checkpoint of separatists next to Slovyansk, four men were detained, suspected in shooting with MANPADS at the helicopters of Armed Forces of Ukraine,” the message reads.

“Representatives of force structures are conducting necessary measures with the detained men in accordance with the current legislation,” the ministry reports.
