Clashes in Odessa continue: shootings are heard

Conflicts in the city center of Odessa continue. A death of activist is officially confirmed by police. Dozens are hurt.

As Dumskaya news media reports, according to unofficial data, there are three dead.

Ukrainian activists seized fire truck and hoisted Ukrainian flag on top of it. They are trying to break through the barricades of separatists with the help of the vehicle.

Pro-Russia activists carried out counter-attack; they fought the fire truck off and removed the Ukrainian flag from it.

Participants of the clashes started using stones, Molotov cocktails and explosives.

One law-enforcer was hit with a Molotov cocktail, but the fire was quickly put out. Another policeman was wounded.

The shootings are heard in the city center. As witnesses report, five policemen were wounded. They are provided with the first aid at the place of clashes. Chief Deputy of Odessa regional Interior Affairs department Dmytro Fuchedzhi was wounded in hand.
