Three saboteurs detained on border with Russia in Luhansk region

Three saboteurs have been detained on the state border in Luhansk region, the press office of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) told Ukrinform on Wednesday.
"The SBU together with the State Border Guard Service (SBGS) on April 30 detained two Russian citizens and a citizen of Belarus, who had been sent to Donetsk to participate in an armed confrontation," the report reads.
The secret service added that the foreigners were trying to cross the border at the Dolzhansky checkpoint.
"According to the testimony of the detainees, at first they were supposed to arrive in Luhansk and go to the SBU building captured by the militants, and then they were planned to be sent to Donetsk to strengthen local gangs," the SBU said.
Military clothing kits, edged weapons and other military equipment have been seized from the saboteurs.
