Separatists want 'turnout' in pseudo-referendum at 70%

Up to 70% of the population in Donetsk region can take part in a referendum on May 11, initiated by the so-called "People's Republic of Donetsk", the head of the self-proclaimed "Election Commission" of the “People's Republic of Donetsk” Roman Lyagin said on Wednesday.
"I expect the turnout of up to 70%. I can't tell what people will decide, moods are polar. We don't have lowered turnout, I will recognize it [referendum - ed.] in any case,” Lyagin said.
