PM Yatseniuk: World should influence Russia over implementation of Geneva accords

The international community should make efforts to influence Russia in the context of the implementation of the Geneva agreements, Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk said at a meeting with a delegation of the Group of the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats in the European Parliament, led by chairman of the group Hannes Swoboda, according to the Government portal.
"Yatseniuk confirmed a steady implementation by the Ukrainian side of the Geneva agreements of April 17, and stressed the importance of joint efforts of the international community to ensure that these arrangements are also fulfilled by the Russian Federation," reads a report.
The prime minister appreciated the support that Ukraine receives from European institutions, including the European Parliament. The meeting also focused on the priority areas for further joint work to stabilize the situation in the country.
A reminder that during their stay in Ukraine, MEPs will visit the cities of Kyiv and Kharkiv.
