Relatives take 24 dead bodies in Odesa

Relatives took the bodies of 24 out of 46 people, who died in the riots on the Kulykove Pole Square in Odesa on May 2.
Head of the media relations department of the Odesa City Council Natalia Maltseva told a Ukrinform correspondent about this.
"Relatives took the bodies of 24 people. Six people have been buried yesterday. Today, 10 people will be buried," she said.
According to her, a process of identification and forensic work is continuing.
"There will be no mass funerals," Maltseva said.
According to Kulykove Pole Square activists, who continue to gather there, many relatives of the victims are against the blasphemous attempts of anyone to get political dividends on the tragedy.
As reported in the city council, the families of Odesa residents, killed in clashes on May 2, will receive by UAH 10,000 from the City Hall for funeral services.
