PANIC MOOD IN ODESA: LOCAL REPORTER

A reporter from Odesa, Zoya Kazanzhy, told that Odesa citizens are in panic mood, since they were not explained about tragic events on May 2.

“From the very start and until now no one created a direct hotline in Odesa. There is no official data on the number of missing. One of the local reporters went into the basement of the Trade Unions building and denied the rumors about hundreds of dead bodies there,” she said.
“People in the city are in panic mood. Many people are afraid. When we talk about provocations, someone benefits from it,” Kazanzhy added.
As she states, the exact number of bodies and those who are missing is still unknown.
“The situation in Odesa lies in the concept of Ukraine being not on the verge of war, but in a state of war. Besides external challenges, we have many internal problems,” she said.
