Tanks leave Snizhne for Horlivka, get resistance

Russian tanks that were sent to Snizhne on Thursday have moved to Horlivka, but a "warm reception" was staged for them there.
Ukrainian Interior Minister Arsen Avakov said this at a briefing in Kyiv on Thursday.
He said that immediately after the tanks crossed the Ukrainian-Russian border they arrived in Snizhne, where two of them left for Horlivka, where they were stopped by the Ukrainian army.
"The tanks were attacked by our Armed Forces. The fighting is going on. I cannot announce its result, but part of this column [the tanks that broke through the border] has been destroyed," he said.
According to Avakov, a column of three tanks passed through the Dyakovo border checkpoint that was earlier seized by terrorists.
